One more individual succumbed to dengue in 24 hours till Thursday morning, bringing the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease to 45 this year.
During the period, 358 more patients were hospitalised with viral fever, raising the total infected-case to 11, 456 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Last year, dengue claimed the lives of 575 people.
