Another mild earthquake measuring 4.3 magnitude was felt in Dhaka and its surrounding areas on Saturday evening, marking the second seismic event reported in the region on the same day.
The tremor was recorded at 6:6 pm, with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter was 11 kilometers west of Narsingdi, at a depth of 10 kilometers below the surface.
Earlier, a 3.3 magnitude earthquake was felt at 10:36 am today. Its epicenter was Palash Upazila of Narsingdi.
A 5.7 magnitude earthquake was felt on Friday morning. Its epicenter was Madhabadi Upazila of Narsingdi, 13 kilometers east of Dhaka. 10 people, including two children, lost their lives in the incident.
