Former chief adviser of the interim government and Nobel laureate economist Dr Muhammad Yunus has left Dhaka for Paris, the capital of France.
Confirming the news, Executive Director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Group Captain SM Ragib Samad said Dr Muhammad Yunus departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) on a Turkish Airlines flight around 6:50 am on Wednesday.
On his way to Paris, Yunus will make a stopover in Istanbul, Türkiye, he added,
The former chief adviser was accorded VIP protocol at the airport.
He arrived at the airport on schedule with his entourage and boarded the Turkish Airlines flight after completing the necessary formalities.
