Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of Nagorik Oikya, called the handcuffed death of former Industries Minister Nurul Majid Humayun inhuman.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday (September 30), he wrote, "I saw a picture of Humayun's body in handcuffs on Facebook. Two Ansars are standing next to the body and talking. I felt very sad. Handcuffed on the body!"
Manna wrote, "Humayun was my classmate in Dhaka College in 66-68. I was not very close to him then. Later, when I joined politics (Awami League), I became friends with him. It became even closer through another teammate of mine (in Bogra and Dhaka College), GM Siraj. I knew him to be a good person."
