Nurul Haque Nur, leader of one faction of Gono Odhikar Parishad on Wednesday warned that Awami League government will be ousted through mass uprising with the people.
He gave this warning in a short road march before distribution of leaflets and mass communication at Shantinagar on Wednesday to demand free, fair and participatory elections as part of the mass communication program.
He said if the government holds lopsided elections on January 7, there will be various sanction on the country. Bangladesh will be isolated from the world. The business of the country will be affected. Therefore, we have to do this movement to protect the existence of the country and the future of democracy.
The former VP of Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) said, "What will be the election, the voting rate is all fixed.
