Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Wednesday informed the EU delegats that the government is going holds a lopsided election without opposition parties, it is not an election, but a drama is going to be staged in the name of election.
BNP made this comment in a meeting with the visiting European Union (EU) electoral expert delegations on Wednesday afternoon.
BNP Standing Committee members Abdul Moyeen Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Chairperson Advisory Council member Ismail Zabiullah, International Affairs Secretary Humayun Kabir, Organizational Secretary Shama Obaid, Human Rights Secretary Asaduzzaman participated in the meeting.
The EU delegation was represented by Rebecca Cox and Charlotte Suebes. Neither side spoke to the media about the meeting.
