Shots fired outside Salman Khan's house

Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Mumbai’s Bandra home was the site of a intense gunshot incident on Sunday.

Mumbai Police claim that at around 4:51 in the morning, two unidentified people riding a motorcycle shot several rounds into the air outside the actor's residence before escaping the scene.

Security has been tightened outside Salman's house following the incident.

The Mumbai Police had initiated an investigation into the incident and is actively working to identify them.

As per latest update, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi has taken responsibilty for the accident.

An alleged social media post by Anmol called the firing only a 'trailer' and also issued a warning to the actor. "We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning. After this, shots will not be fired outside the house only. And we have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel, whom you consider to be Gods. Now, I don't have the habit of talking much," the post read.

Salman Khan has been on Lawrence Bishnoi’s hit list ever since he killed the blackbuck while shooting for film "Hum Saath Saath Hain" in 1998.

Earlier, Lawrence issued an open threat to Salman and asked him to issue a public apology for insulting his community by killing a blackbuck or face dire consequences.

The blackbuck, the antelopes are endangered species in India and the Bishnoi community of Jodhpur consider the blackbuck to be the reincarnation of their religious Guru Bhagwan Jambeshwar also known as Jambaji.
